Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: July 2, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and guidelines governing the use of Springbot’s services. By accessing or using any part of the Springbot platform, you agree to comply with this policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of the Springbot Terms of Use.

Springbot serves a diverse community of businesses. To preserve platform reliability, sender reputation, and service quality for all users, we strictly prohibit behaviors and content that degrade performance, violate the law, harm others, or misuse platform features.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use Springbot to create, distribute, or promote any content that:

  • Is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Offers or promotes illegal goods or services
  • Includes pornography, sexually explicit content, escort services, or adult entertainment
  • Promotes or sells pharmaceuticals, supplements, or regulated health products
  • Offers gambling or online betting services
  • Engages in multi-level marketing, affiliate marketing, or get-rich-quick schemes
  • Offers credit repair, debt relief, or financial claims not backed by credible licenses
  • Sells fake social media engagement (e.g., likes or followers)
  • Violates intellectual property rights or promotes deception or fraud

We reserve the right to review and disable content that falls within high-risk categories including:

  • Online trading or stock tips
  • Daily horoscopes or fortune telling
  • Mortgage and loan offerings
  • Real estate lead gen
  • Vitamin and nutritional supplement offers
  • Adult novelty items

2. Prohibited Actions

You agree not to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited commercial emails. This includes bulk or one-to-one messages that lack clear, opt-in consent. You must retain records of recipient consent.
  • Violate CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or similar email regulations
  • Use misleading sender information, deceptive subject lines, or false reply headers
  • Phish, spoof, or impersonate any person or entity
  • Upload purchased, scraped, rented, co-reg, or partner lists
  • Bypass Springbot billing thresholds via list deletions or bulk unsubscribes
  • Resend Springbot-generated emails through other services
  • Send email that will be delivered as SMS or MMS unless explicitly allowed
  • Collect or transmit sensitive personal data such as Social Security numbers or passwords
  • Use Springbot to send personal mail unrelated to your business

You may not reverse engineer or create competing tools based on Springbot software or use any Springbot services for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

3. AI Tools and Responsible Use

Springbot’s AI-powered features are designed to assist with content generation, recommendations, and automation. While available under “unlimited” plans, use must remain within fair and acceptable limits.

You agree to:

  • Review and verify all AI-generated content before publishing or sending
  • Not use AI-generated content to spread false or misleading information
  • Avoid using Springbot AI to generate offensive, discriminatory, or deceptive material
  • Not script or automate high-volume generation requests to abuse AI usage

Springbot may restrict AI access for users who misuse or excessively strain the system.

4. Email Performance and Deliverability Standards

Springbot uses shared IP addresses across customers. To protect platform-wide deliverability:

  • You must maintain positive sender behavior (low bounce and spam complaint rates)
  • We monitor open, click, bounce, unsubscribe, and complaint metrics
  • We may notify you and temporarily pause sending for poor performance
  • Repeated violations will result in permanent suspension

5. Opt-In and List Requirements

All contact lists must be:

  • Collected with clear, affirmative, and verifiable opt-in consent
  • Owned and controlled by your business (not rented, co-reg, or third-party)
  • Permissioned specifically for your business marketing

You must not use Springbot to contact individuals who have not explicitly agreed to receive communications from you. Re-engagement campaigns must comply with these standards.

6. Multi-Account Management

Franchises, agencies, or other multi-entity organizations may use multiple Springbot accounts, provided each account is authorized, properly configured, and does not attempt to bypass usage rules or platform limits.

7. Suspension and Enforcement

Springbot reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of this policy. Suspension may occur with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the behavior.

Accounts may be suspended due to:

  • Repeated policy violations
  • System strain or abuse
  • Poor deliverability or spam-related activity

If your account has been suspended, you may request a review by contacting help@springbot.com.

8. Amendments and Best Practices

Springbot may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically. Changes will be communicated through our help center or official communication channels.

You are encouraged to follow best practices for email marketing, data privacy, and engagement management as outlined in Springbot’s Knowledge Base.
