ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Springbot, a trusted marketing platform for the 800,000 SMB eCommerce stores looking to grow their businesses online, announced one of its most successful years yet. The company grew its offerings and team, with a platform expansion and the addition of two key leaders.
Springbot continues to grow its platform and team on its path to achieve growth targets in 2017. Overall, the Springbot platform has marked another year of innovation and growth now housing over 60M consumers, $5B in revenue and 25M product level purchases. Expanding its email capabilities, including the addition of Campaign Services and Product Recommendations, played a pivotal role in the growth and usage of the eCommerce marketing platform. Springbot introduced product recommendations into its existing email platform so retailers can send customers triggered emails based on the products they browse or purchase. Springbot also began offering onsite email capture capability, allowing retailers to provide email sign-up forms as pop-ups or fly-ins based on user behavior data – including first-time visitors or those who spend a certain amount of time on the site.
In addition to growing its business and platform, Springbot became a BigCommerce premier partner, fulfilling its promise to expand strategic partnerships. The two companies have been working in close collaboration to advance eCommerce tools and thought leadership.
As part of team expansion, another goal set after 2016’s successful fundraising, Springbot welcomed two new senior leadership team members, Mary Ford, as chief operating officer, and Kyle Garcia, as head of strategic partnerships. Ford, formerly at Cbeyond and Secureworks, brings executive experience to the position, including roles as vice president of learning and development and head of sales strategy and operations during her tenures. Garcia, formerly at Cloud Sherpas, Accenture as well as Google, has a proven track record and background in partnership development.
To add to Springbot’s success this year, the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Atlanta Business Chronicle recognized Springbot as a “Backed By ATL” company and a “Best Place to Work”, respectively:
Backed By ATL: Springbot is one of seven out of 100 companies that applied and accepted to the inaugural program. The Metro Atlanta Chamber “Backed by Atlanta” program will bring together key resources with a focused effort to grow the city’s most promising companies. Springbot will leverage the Metro Atlanta Chamber for help with hiring as well as partnership access to Atlanta’s most storied business leaders in the MAC’s focused effort.
Atlanta’s Best Places to Work: Springbot received recognition for its highly-ranked work environment and company culture in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s annual employee survey at nominated companies. This is the third year in a row Springbot has made the Best Places to Work list and the second it has placed in the top ten.
“2017 thus far is a year of great team and product development for Springbot, which sets the foundation for scaling our business,” said Brooks Robinson, co-founder and CEO of Springbot. “Between our new offerings, new hires and greater access to eCommerce stores, we’re ensuring Springbot has the fuel it needs to remain innovative for years to come.”
