Atlanta Entrepreneur Connecting the Springbot Volunteer Community to Help Local Youth
Atlanta, GA – April 24, 2018 – Springbot, provider of an eCommerce marketing platform that helps online retailers grow revenue, today announced that Co-founder & CEO Brooks Robinson has been named to the Corporate Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA). Serving more than 3,300 Atlanta youth daily, BGCMA works to change the lives of children and teens in underserved communities by providing them with a safe, positive environment and programs to prepare and inspire them for future success.
Robinson believes that entrepreneurs are in a position to drive positive change in their communities by adopting core values that encourage their teams to give back and grow as leaders. In addition to the contributions Robinson will provide, his connection to BGCMA provides opportunities for the 100+ employees at Springbot to contribute to the community through programs and initiatives in a wide variety of areas including education, health, arts, sports, technology and Robinson’s personal favorite, entrepreneurship.
“The Boys & Girls Club has a history that goes back more than a century. It is an honor to be part of this amazing organization that has improved the lives of so many deserving kids,” said Robinson, who has volunteered with multiple Atlanta non-profit organizations for more than 15 years.
Springbot recently hosted BGCMA at the Springbot headquarters in Midtown Atlanta to discuss how the two organizations will work together on community outreach, as well as how Boys & Girls Clubs will leverage Springbot to promote technology and entrepreneurship to the organization’s youth members. “There are many similarities between the BGCMA mission and the diverse value-based culture at Springbot that celebrates what makes each of us unique. I’m excited about our upcoming Springbot Summer Service Day that will combine the passion of our employee volunteers and the energy of 400 kids across three local BGCMA clubs,” continued Robinson.
Robinson also serves on the advisory board of Kate’s Club, a non-profit that assists children dealing with life after the death of a parent or sibling, and has been an active member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) for more than 10 years.
