Springbot Named a Third-Time TAG Top 40 Innovative Technology Company

Springbot is honored to be named a TAG Top 40 Innovative Company for 2017!

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced Springbot as one of its Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia for the third time. TAG will recognize this prestigious group at the 2017 Georgia Technology Summit (GTS) on March 23, 2017, at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

TAG’S Top 40 Awards recognize Georgia-based technology companies for their innovation, financial impact, and their efforts at spreading awareness of Georgia’s technology initiatives throughout the U.S. and globally.

Springbot is honored to be a part of this distinguished group yet again. Our innovation and focus since 2012 has been on taking marketing capabilities that were once only available to big businesses and adapting them for small-to-medium eCommerce businesses – creating a solution accessible to all. A vital part of our competitive advantage is the algorithms we’ve built based analyzing over $4 billion in online transactions for over 44M consumers. The underlying platform technology guides our customers to combine analysis and automation with an understanding for the next best marketing action they should take.

This award caps off an exciting sixty days at Springbot that included:

  • The announcement of a $10M series B fundraise by Harbert Growth Partners, Tech Operators and TTV Capital covered by the WSJ, Venture Beat, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Media Post and other noteworthy outlets
  • The launch of new product features including Amazon Essential, Shoppable Instagram, Email Personalization, Dynamic Retargeting Ads for Facebook, Instagram and web, and Unique Coupon Codes; and
  • The announcement ofSpringbot’s eCommerce Scorecard. The report that is available to all online retailers is generated using a store’s social data and website traffic to benchmark performance against peers.  The report is available by email monthly and includes recommendations, thought leadership and customer stories on strategies to guide eCommerce merchants.

“We are honored to be recognized by TAG as a Top 40 Innovative Technology Company for the third time,” said Brooks Robinson, Springbot Co-founder and CEO. “Our team is dedicated to building an innovative eCommerce marketing platform for online retailers and we are also committed to building a thriving, entrepreneurial company culture. This award is a testament to the passion our team has for innovation and helping our customers grow.”

“The 2017 Top 40 finalists are an elite group of innovators who represent the very best of Georgia’s technology community,” said Larry Williams, president & CEO of TAG. “The 2017 Top 40 finalists are shining examples of what makes our State such a hotbed for technology and we applaud them for standing out as leaders in Georgia’s technology community.”

This year’s Top 40 Companies were selected from over 110 applications submitted by companies from across Georgia. Companies selected for the “Top 40” will be showcased in an exhibition at The 2017 Georgia Technology Summit.

“An extraordinary number of truly innovative technology companies participated in this year’s Top 40 competition, demonstrating the depth and breadth of Georgia’s technology community,” said Dennis Zakas, managing partner of Zakas & Leonard, LLP, CEO of Zinc., and chairperson of the Top 40 Selection Committee.  “In fact, based on the quality of the contestants, we could have had a ‘Top 60’ without losing a beat.”

The 2017 Georgia Technology Summit is expected to draw a crowd of more than 1,300 C-level executives, entrepreneurs, technology professionals and academia to celebrate and recognize Georgia’s technology community. In addition to presentations from some of the top technology influencers in the nation, the newest member of the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia will be inducted.
