Company recognized on Inc. 5000 for second year in a row after continued growth
ATLANTA, August 15th, 2019 — Springbot, a data-driven marketing platform for eCommerce retailers, today announced it has received new recognition from four industry organizations, including being named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row. Only 25% of companies on the Inc. 5000 have appeared twice, let alone two years in a row.
Founded in 2012 to uniquely help small to medium-sized retailers market their online stores, Springbot ranked No. 759 on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list represents a unique look at the fastest growing and most successful companies within the country’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Pandora, LinkedIn and many other well-known companies gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000 list. With a three-year revenue growth of 573%, Springbot is also ranked the 36th top Atlanta business, 38th in Georgia and 4th among software companies in Atlanta.
“We couldn’t have achieved these results or earned this recognition without our committed team and passionate customers,” said Brooks Robinson, CEO and Co-founder of Springbot. “If they aren’t successful, we aren’t successful. We are dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized eCommerce retailers so they can compete against bigger companies with deeper pockets, but not necessarily deeper brand loyalty.”
Not only have the companies on the 2019 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 list have followed so many different paths to success,” said James Ledbetter, editor in chief at Inc. “There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”
In addition to making the Inc. 5000 list, Springbot was named to the 2019 Pacesetter list and won the Marketing, Advertising and Design category of Atlanta Inno’s inaugural “50 on Fire” awards. The 50 on Fire nominees were submitted by Atlanta Inno readers to highlight companies that had especially big years for raising funding, launching products, making big hires or developing innovative approaches to solving problems.
“Atlanta is expanding rapidly with innovative and talented technology companies doing so many great things,” Robinson said. “Winning a category full of so many great companies is truly gratifying.”
Springbot is also one of Atlanta’s Best Places to Work for the fifth year in a row from the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The continuous focus on values and culture includes partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta to create an avenue for the entire team to participate in a culture of giving back.
