2016 TiE50 Top Start-up winners to be announced at annual TiEcon 2016

Atlanta – May 5, 2016 – Springbot was selected as a “2016 TiE50 Top Start-up” for the prestigious TiE50 Technology Awards Program. Winners will be announced on Friday, May 6th at the organization’s annual entrepreneurial conference, TiEcon.
“Industry recognition from prestigious organizations such as TiE Silicon Valley validates Springbot’s dedication to helping small and medium-sized online retailers leverage data to simplify marketing activities and generate results,” said Brooks Robinson, Springbot Co-founder and CEO.
“TiE50 has become a global brand that attracts thousands of companies worldwide,” said program co-chair Karpagam Narayanan. “We screened more than 2,000 companies this year and selected the most innovative 70 companies as 2016 TiE50 Top Start-ups,” she said.
The TiE50 Program is one of TiE Silicon Valley’s most successful programs, Narayanan added. This year, the screening committee included 47 judges who are accomplished domain experts, senior executives, venture capitalists, and marquee tech entrepreneurs. Since the TiE50’s inception in 2009, 92 percent of the selected start-ups have received funding within one year of being recognized. About 130 “Top Start-ups” had successful exits to date.
